When we are at the theatre, seeing the action properly is not enough. We want to hear it too. This is not just about amplification.
People who use hearing aids should be able to enjoy the performance, and technicians will need to communicate during the performance without disturbing the audience. Actors waiting in the changing rooms also need to follow what is happening on stage and be alerted to their cues.
